Author’s Note: When I first began writing to publish back in the 1990’s, I thought I was writing books for my generation and that time in history. Little did I realize I would still be waiting for God to use them for a time still to come when “the Phoenix” of authentic community would arise from the ashes of religion’s temples! In fact, I did not understand until I received a revelation in March of 2026 that all of my books lead to and support that Phoenix church! Will they be employed in my lifetime? I am as Simeon awaiting the coming of the Christ-child to view this magnificent creature, but it will not be until a substantial move of God through the Spirit and sings in the earth that that day will come. All I know is He has told me to write and to wait, and that’s what I have continued to do [not always “counting it joy” mind you] for over three decades now. Hopefully, you will live to see it and God will place copies of these works in your hands to help you and your band of Marketplace Saints through troubled and exciting times!

This is the one to read first, because it represents “the apostle’s teaching” element of the above verse. God is always doing “a new thing” and bringing forth new revelations to help His people through changing times and cultures. Community involves establishing a depth of relationship with both God and man that exceeds the superficial. Getting along with others is not easy, but as with all things of the Spirit humility, repentance, and confession within the body is the cure.
